Keeping it classy May 02, 2010 I bought 8 of these ties for my wedding and was very happy with the result. The adjustable feature was nice and fit everyone (but had to go to the largest setting for one of my buddies). The tie held up well to repeated tying attempts (there was a bit of a learning curve for us), though one or two did start to fray a bit at the seams by the end of the night. Mine is still holding up strong and I would wholeheartedly recommend getting a real tie over a pre-tied one. The herringbone is also a very nice touch.
good quality bow tie May 29, 2009 I was pleased with the way that this tie served me on my prom night. It has the slits for adjusting the length of the tie, along with a pattern that makes the tie hold its knot much better. I've never been one of those clip tie types, and am glad I purchased this tie instead of a pre-tied one. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a black tie, as it is of a very good silk based satin and well constructed.

Texture makes it easier to tie Dec 31, 2008 The tasteful herringbone texture of this high quality bow tie greatly reduces the slipperiness inherent in satin bowties and makes tying it significantly easier. The result is a very malleable, adjustable knot that stays tied nicely.

Looking sharp for the band concert Dec 04, 2008 This is a really nice tie. Great fabric and a much lower price than other lower quality ties in our area. Jos.A.Banks has nothing on this tie. Get this one instead of theirs.

Great transaction Jul 03, 2008 The product arrived promptly and without delay or complication. I am very satisfied. A quick note to other buyers: This is an adjustable bow tie. One end of tie has a metal bracket fastener. This slides into small horizontal slots cut into the other tying end of the tie. This small but important note confused me at first.
