It is hard to find good quality sweat pants these days. These are very good quality. The fabric has a soft natural feel and is a medium thickness.

 Not exactly "heavyweight" Nov 29, 2007
I guess that among the things that have changed over time, the definition of "heavyweight" must be included now... My Dad lives in a chilly climate, and is always looking for nice, thick, warm sweats. They are getting hard to find. I jumped on these because of the word heavyweight in the product description. These seem to be nice sweatpants, but in no stretch of my Dad's (or my) definition, are these "heavyweight". They are about normal-to-(actually)lighter weight sweats. Hence the 2 star rating- I felt that the description was deceptive.

Plus: They're soft, comfortable, have pockets, have an elastic waistband for comfort, and a drawstring in case you want them tighter (losing weight or whatever.) Yay pockets!
Minus: They shrink. I always get them at least one size bigger than I need, and never dry them with more than minimal heat.
I've been wearing Champion and Hanes sweatpants for years. Hanes just don't last as well.
AE Designs got these to me quickly; I'm happy.
