x2 and still just as great! Jul 22, 2010 My son had a pair of these when he was about 2 years old. Now almost 5 we were looking for a nice sturdy but comfortable pair of summer shoes that would endure his active and dirty lifestyle. These are the perfect sandal! The best part is they clean up very well after a hard play if need be for a more formal event/outing.
My son loves them and even at two they were easy for him to put on himself. Highly recommend!
Love at first sight Jun 28, 2010 I bought these for my 2&1/2 year old son and he loves them and wants to wear them everywhere...even around the house.
I had bought a pair of the same sandals when he was littler but he could not appreciate them as much then. I like the ruggedness of the sandal which is perfect for a child who is outdoors a lot.
They seem to be quite comfortable and do not rub on his achilles tendon like some sandals can.
I think they are well designed for toddlers and the consequent wear and tear.
I would definitely buy these again when he outgrows the current pair.
They seem to fit true to size and don't appear to be too heavy for him.
great sandals Jun 09, 2010 My son has been wearing these Little Angler sandals for 2 1/2 years, and we both love them. They are well made, comfortable and provide plenty of support. They hold up well--they don't wear out, he outgrows them. We feel the same way about Stride Rite's tennis shoes.
No, not wide Apr 28, 2009 I left only one star because I couldn't tell you whether the shoes are of good quality or not. The shoes are not even a bit "wide" as advertised. We found wider shoes from Wal-Mart that are just "regular" width. Not only that, the Wal-Mart shoes were about 33% of the cost of the Macy's shoes. I was willing to pay more if it was actually as advertised.
I get really irritated with companies that dwell in the world where truth in advertising is optional. Wide is wide and everything else is not. The worst part is that it destroys the credibility of the company and customer confidence.
I won't bother ordering from Macy's again for two reasons: Trust and Cost.
Stride Rite Little Kid/Big Kid Angler Sandal Sep 24, 2008 EXCELENT ITEM. MY SON LOVES IT. ONLY OBJECTION THAT I HAV IS THAT BACK BELT IS GOING DOVN AND GETS OFF FROM FOOT.
