Stinks to high heaven! Jun 30, 2010 We have four children between the ages of 7 and 14(boys & girls) and wanted a shoe for summer that could get wet but would also protect the foot/toes. We purchased four pairs of Teva Dozers. This is indeed a great shoe as far as durability and toe protection - that is if you don't mind keeping them outside! I have never in my life smelled such a horrible odor than what these shoes produce. I will never buy this style again. For "odor killing" help I researched microban technology, Teva washing procedures, etc. and followed them to the letter. We even tried "homemade" suggestions, but nothing helps! The smell is so bad that we finally threw away all four pairs. Nothing like throwing money down the drain. If you want a durable, protective shoe and do not mind the "stench of death" it produces, buy this shoe.Teva Men's Dozer SandalTeva Women's Dozer SandalTeva - Kids - Downtown Ola
Great summer shoes! Jun 29, 2010 Love these tevas. Great for summer, and are as stable as a sneaker. Son uses these at the beach, climbing on rocks, etc. and we haven't had a problem after about 8 months of use. And they're still holding up strong.
Great Fit! Jun 24, 2010 We went to multiple shoe stores trying to find my son some summer sandals. He has very narrow feet, and all of the sandals were uncomfortable for him to wear. So I asked around and my friends recommended trying Teva sandals. They fit his feet well and the velcro is easier for him to use than the elastic band that has to be pulled tight that is used by the other sandals we tried on.

Unmitaged disaster Jun 10, 2010 We purchased a variety of Teva hiking sandal models for a 15 day trip down the Grand Canyon. We wore them around the house and yard for a few weeks to break them in. The very first day in the canyon they started falling apart - the soles delaminated and I spent hours of precious canyon time trying to glue them using shoo goo, aqua seal and gorilla glue. Nothing held more than a couple days. Finally we duct taped them as best we could and hoped we didn't kill ourselves on the hikes by slipping on the duct taped soles. Another customer on the trip also had her Tevas delaminate (we had the spider rubber inserts, she had a full rubber sole). The guides previously had bad experiences with Teva and wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole.
Teva knew these sandals were crap, and sold them anyway instead of recalling them. I bought some of the original Teva sandals 20 years ago, but will never buy their product again.
Perfect! Jun 10, 2010 I have purchased Teva's Dozer sandals for myself twice now. My husband has a pair, and now my daughter has a pair too. Everyone loves the versatility; climbing around a rocky lake was never easier. We live in Arizona, and a breathable athletic type shoe is necessary. Add in the fact that they are lightweight, great traction, amphibious and PINK! Perfect purchase. These are my go-to athletic/hiking sandal for my whole family. Just a note: Sizing was maybe a touch on the small side.
